Both Jeffrey and Jill Widness are deeply committed to giving back to the community that helped make and continues to make successful the many opportunities HMI has had to work with local and national companies.  The city and region, the people living here and their success and wellbeing are important to both Jeff and Jill.

Each year, HMI gives generously to local causes, organizations, and charities in the form of direct funds and scholarships, including Lake Superior College, Lake Superior Zoo, CHUM, The Salvation Army, UMD, Union Gospel Mission, PAVSA, Lutheran Social Services, local food shelves, and other needed services.  For HMI, building means also building up people.

Giving back is a company value.  Soon, we'll be announcing the recipient of the first official Bright Choice Charitable Scholarship.
