JETBRIDGE AND BAGGAGE LIFT INSTALLATION

A 30 year old Jetway System was replaced with a new Jetbridge Technologies System. The old jetbridge was removed and disposed of under the contract. After installation, the air carrier requested that the jetbridge by outfitted with a baggage lift system. Upon arrival, the lift system required extensive modifications performed on site by HMI prior to the install. HMI completed 100% of the work under tight security regulations and without disruption to the terminal's air carrier operations.

The Air Traffic Control Tower was constructed in the early 1950's. The electrical grounding system within and surrounding the building was in poor shape at best requiring repair and replacement. Under an FAA contract, HMI removed the concrete around the building and installed the new cable and grounding rods. New ground plates were also installed inside the building. The project was completed 100% by HMI, on time, on budget, and without disruptions to ATC operations.
